Q&A
A: There's no specific age limit for the Dark Tales tour, but I'd recommend it for ages 13 and up. It can get a bit spooky with Lovecraft's stories, so younger kids might find it a bit intense. Just check with the tour guide if you have any concerns, they’re super helpful!
A: The tour runs rain or shine! They suggest dressing appropriately for the weather. If it looks really bad, they may contact you for rescheduling options, but usually, it continues unless there’s a severe storm. Bring an umbrella just in case!
A: Parking can be tricky in Providence, but there are a few garages around. I’d recommend the Providence Place Mall parking garage; it’s not too far from where the tour starts. Just be aware of the time limits and prices, they can vary. Also, consider using public transport or rideshare if you can!

Just did the Dark Tales tour and it was amazing!
I just got back from the Dark Tales: The Haunted Authors of Providence tour, and wow, it was such a great experience! Our guide really brought Lovecraft’s stories to life. We visited his childhood neighborhood and learned about his eerie influences. I went with a couple of friends and we were all creeped out in the best way possible. If you're a fan of horror literature, this is a must-do!
