Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit! I've seen families with kids as young as 10 join in, but it really depends on their interest in photography. Just keep in mind that the terrain can be a bit rugged in spots, so make sure they're comfortable hiking a little. If your kid loves taking pics, they'll have a blast!
A: Moab can be pretty hot in the summer, but spring and fall are ideal for this experience! If the weather looks sketchy, the tour provider will usually reach out to reschedule or discuss options. Just keep an eye on the forecast and be flexible.
A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly while afternoons heat up. Sturdy shoes are a must since you'll be hiking a bit. A camera with a good zoom lens is ideal, but a phone will work too! Just bring what you’re comfortable with.

Anyone else done the Day of Photography in Moab? I’m thinking of gifting it!
I’m looking into the Day of Photography experience in Moab for my partner’s birthday. They’re really into photography, and I’ve heard amazing things about the sunrise shots in Canyonlands. What should I expect? Is it worth it for beginners? Any tips?

Wow, what an experience! We visited Arches National Park and Canyonlands, and the spots the guide chose were unbelievable. I’m not a pro, but I got some great shots thanks to his tips. Totally recommend it for anyone into nature or photography!
