Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for the Zion Canyon tour?

A: There’s no strict minimum age, but kids should be able to handle some light hiking at Zion. The Canyon Overlook Trail is pretty easy, but it has some drop-offs, so you’ll want to supervise younger kids. I brought my 10-year-old, and she loved it!

Q: What should we wear for the Zion Canyon tour?

A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes! The Canyon Overlook Trail is short but can be rocky. Layering is key since temps can change a lot in the canyons. Also, don’t forget your sunscreen, and maybe a hat for shade while exploring. I wore a light jacket in the morning and it worked great!

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the tour?

A: Rain can change plans since safety is a priority! The tour operator usually contacts you if they need to reschedule. Antelope Canyon is particularly sensitive to rain due to flash floods, so keep an eye on the weather. I had to change mine last minute because of a storm, but they were super accommodating!

I just got back from the Zion Canyon tour! It was incredible! Our guide was super friendly and made sure we got to see the best spots. The hike at Canyon Overlook was short but stunning. The pictures he took were better than anything I could have done! Totally worth the price, which was included in the package. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about it!
