Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this backcountry experience? My kids are 10 and 12.

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be comfortable with outdoor activities and basic hiking. They’ll have a blast kayaking and archery, plus the fall colors are incredible for a family outing. Just make sure they’re dressed for the weather!

Q: What's the parking situation like at the Park City meeting point?

A: There’s convenient parking at the meeting point in Park City. The area is pretty accessible, and you shouldn’t have trouble finding a spot. Just arrive a bit early to avoid the rush!

Q: What kind of food is included in the box lunch? My partner has food allergies.

A: The box lunch typically includes a sandwich, chips, fruit, and a dessert, but they can accommodate food allergies if you let them know ahead of time. Just make sure to mention any dietary restrictions when booking!

Thinking of gifting the Utah Mountain Day Trip! Anyone done this?

I'm considering this day trip for my boyfriend's birthday, especially with the fall colors in full swing! I saw it includes kayaking and archery, which he loves. Can anyone share their experiences? Also, how’s the weather at the end of September? Do I need to bring anything special?

Just booked the day trip! What should I expect?

I’m so excited! I booked the trip for my sister and me. I heard they bring all the gear, so that’s cool. But should I wear hiking boots or will regular sneakers be okay? Also, how's the kayaking experience? Is it beginner-friendly?
