Q&A

Q: What should we wear for sailing in San Diego? Is it chilly on the water?

A: It's usually pretty warm in San Diego, but it can get a bit cooler once you're out on the water. I'd recommend wearing layers! A light jacket or sweater is good to have, especially if you're sailing later in the day. Don't forget comfy shoes that can get wet!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating. They aim to keep everyone safe and will reach out if it's necessary. Just make sure to reach out to them as soon as you know you can’t make it!

Q: Is this suitable for kids? What age range is best?

A: Absolutely! This sailing experience is family-friendly and great for kids of all ages. They’ll love seeing the sea lions and dolphins! Just keep an eye on them, since it's a boat and can be a bit rocky at times.

Just back from the sailing trip in San Diego—what a blast!

We just did the daytime sailing along San Diego's skyline and it was incredible! We saw a bunch of sea lions and even spotted dolphins! The captain was super chill and knew a ton about the area. They had blankets and cushions on the deck, which made it so comfy. I totally recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day out. Plus, the complimentary white wine was a nice touch!

Thinking about gifting the sailing experience—any thoughts?

I’m considering getting this daytime sailing along San Diego’s skyline for my brother’s birthday. He loves the outdoors and water activities. Has anyone done this? What did you think? Would it be a good gift? Also, is parking easy at the marina?
