Q: Is there a lot of walking involved on this tour? I’m worried about my parents who aren’t super mobile.

A: Yeah, there’s definitely some walking! The tour covers the White House, Capitol Building, and Washington Monument, so expect to be on your feet for a couple of hours. It’s not super strenuous, but I’d say make sure they wear comfy shoes. If they can handle a leisurely stroll, they should be fine!

Q: How does the reserved entry to the African American Museum work? Do we need to go right after the tour?

A: You get your reserved ticket at the end of the walking tour. There’s no rush to go right away, but I suggest doing it the same day if you can. The museum can get busy, so it’s great to have a ticket in hand. Just keep in mind the museum's hours when planning your visit!

Q: What’s the best way to get to the meeting point for the tour? Is there parking?

A: The meeting point is usually near the White House, which can be a bit tricky for parking. I’d suggest using a rideshare or public transit if possible. There are some parking garages nearby, but they can fill up fast. Just plan ahead!
