Q&A
A: The best time to visit Death Valley for this tour is during fall or spring, like October or April. The temperatures are much more pleasant, perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying the stargazing without melting in the heat! Summer can be scorching, so I'd avoid that if possible. Just check the moon phase too; a bright moon can wash out some stars.
A: Yes, kids are welcome on this tour! There isn’t a strict age limit, but keep in mind that the stargazing can last late into the night. So, if your kids are young, you might want to consider if they can handle staying up that late. The sights are stunning, though, and I think they would love the adventure!
A: Definitely wear comfortable, breathable clothes since it can get really warm during the day! I'd also suggest wearing sturdy shoes because some areas can be rocky and uneven. And don’t forget a light jacket for when the sun sets; it gets cold quickly in the desert. Sunglasses and a hat are also great ideas for daytime exploration!

Just got back from the Death Valley Sunset and Stargazing Tour!
OMG, this tour was incredible! We saw such stunning views at Dante’s View and Badwater Basin. The sunset was like nothing I'd ever seen before. And stargazing afterward? Wow, we saw the Milky Way and so many constellations. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made it even better. Totally recommend it as a gift or just for yourself! But make sure to check the moon phase, we got lucky with a dark sky.
Thinking about gifting the Death Valley Tour, any thoughts?
Hey everyone! I’m looking to gift the Death Valley Sunset and Stargazing Tour to my parents. They love nature and stargazing but I’m worried about the late hours. Any thoughts on whether this would be a good gift? They’ve never been to Death Valley!
