Q&A
A: No specific age limit! Kids as young as 6 can join if they're accompanied by an adult. Just make sure they're comfortable with hiking and the terrain. The guides are great with kids and can tailor the experience to make it fun and educational for everyone!
A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes with good grip. Layers are key since it can get hot during the day but cooler in the canyon. I recommend lightweight clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, and don’t forget sunscreen. Also, bring a water bottle to stay hydrated!
A: If weather conditions are unsafe, Antelope Valley Canyon Tours will contact you to reschedule. They’re super flexible and understand things happen, especially in Arizona! Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your tour.

Thinking of gifting the Deer Canyon Adventure—any thoughts?
I’m considering this for my brother’s birthday. He loves the outdoors but hasn’t been to Antelope Canyon yet. I love that it’s less crowded than the other canyons. How’s the experience? Is it worth it? Any tips on what to bring or expect?
Just did the Deer Canyon Adventure - Amazing experience!
Went on the Deer Canyon tour last weekend and wow, just wow! The guides really made the experience special with their stories and insights. The canyon itself is stunning—so different from the busy Upper Antelope. If you’re a photography fan, don’t miss out on this tour! Definitely recommend wearing good shoes though—it can get a little tricky in some parts.
