Q&A
A: The scoring is based on how quickly you complete tasks and the creative way you interpret clues! Each team earns points for the number of challenges they conquer, and there's a leaderboard to see how you stack up against teams in other cities. It's a fun mix of competition and creativity, so don't stress too much about the score—just have a blast exploring! Also, you can extend your hunt at no extra charge if you want more time.
A: There's no specific age restriction for the scavenger hunt, which is great! However, I’d recommend that younger kids have an adult with them for the challenges. The content is generally family-friendly, and it can be a fantastic way for families to bond. Just keep in mind that some clues may be more suited for older kids or adults.
A: Wear something comfortable since you’ll be walking around a lot! I suggest light layers because San Diego's weather can change, and comfy shoes are a must. Also, consider sunscreen and a hat if it’s a sunny day. You might be moving between shady and sunny spots, so good footwear and light clothing will keep you in the game longer!

Just did the Del Mar Dash scavenger hunt and it was awesome!
I bought the Del Mar Dash scavenger hunt for my friend's birthday, and we had a blast! The live host made it super interactive and engaging. We explored parts of San Diego I never knew existed and even laughed at some of the clues. We took about 2 hours to finish, but you can extend it for free, which was cool. Totally recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and unique gift!
Considering the scavenger hunt as a gift—thoughts?
So I’m thinking about getting the Del Mar Dash scavenger hunt for my sister's anniversary. They love exploring new places together, but I’m worried about how competitive it might get! Is it more about fun or actually winning?
