Our tour begins in Western Market, which has a legacy dating back to 1802! There we will sample donuts made from a business that’s been in the same family for five generations. From there we’ll head downtown, where we’ll see a restaurant favored by a former President before passing by the White House itself for a perfect photo op. After soaking in some history at Lafayette Square, we’ll head deeper into DC to try some local fan favorite donuts from local celebrities. From there, we’ll head down Palmers Alley, the most instagrammable spot in DC, where we’ll end our adventure with delectable donuts with an international flavor. By the end, you’ll have made some great friends and enjoyed some incredible donuts and history. We hope you can join us today!

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the donut tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids are welcome, and they usually have a blast. Just keep in mind that the tour involves some walking, so make sure they’re up for it. Plus, donuts are a hit with all ages! If they're under 12, you might want to double-check with the tour guide for any specific recommendations.

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather forecast looks bad, the tour will usually either reschedule or provide a rain date. It’s best to check with the tour operators a day before to confirm. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be walking around DC, rain or shine!

Q: How much walking is involved? Is it a hard route?

A: The walking is pretty manageable! It’s more of a leisurely stroll through downtown DC, mostly flat terrain. You’ll definitely get to stop and enjoy the sights, which makes it feel relaxed. I'd say bring comfy shoes and a sense of adventure!

Just did the Delicious Donuts tour, and it was epic!

I went on the Delicious Donuts of Downtown DC tour last weekend, and wow, it was a sweet time! Starting at the historic Western Market, I tried donuts from this family-run place that’s been around for generations. We walked by the White House, got some great pics, and tried so many different kinds of donuts. I loved the local flavors especially! The guides are super friendly, and it felt nice to make new friends while eating. Perfect gift idea for anyone who loves sweets or history!
