Our tour begins at the Charles Hotel to make sure you get your morning fix before we quickly head over to our first stop, Union Square Donuts. Union Square is featured on both our Harvard Square tour as well as our downtown Boston tour - that’s how good they are! After we get our first fill of donuts, we’re off for a quick walk through Harvard Square and through the university itself. We’ll give you a brief history of Harvard Square, the surrounding area and Harvard University itself. After a short walk through the picturesque campus, we’ll stop at our second shop in the campus center for some unique donut flavors. We can’t tell you what the flavors will be as they change seasonally and we want your input on which ones we pick. All of them are good, we guarantee it. Our last and final stop will be Saloniki, a local Greek restaurant that serves some amazing loukoumades. What are loukoumades you ask? Well, it’s a unique greek twist on donuts. You’re going to love it.

Q&A

Q: What’s the age limit for kids on this tour? Thinking about getting it for my niece and nephew.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d say kids around 8 and up would enjoy it the most. The tour includes a fair bit of walking, and they’ll definitely want to be able to appreciate the donut tasting! I’ve seen younger kids on the tour too, just be ready to keep an eye on them.

Q: How does the weather affect the tour? What if it rains?

A: If it rains, the tour typically goes on! Just dress appropriately. That being said, they do have a policy where you can reschedule if the weather is particularly bad. Just stay in touch with them before the tour for updates.

Q: Is parking easy around Harvard Square if we drive?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky in Harvard Square, especially on weekends. There are some garages and metered street parking, but I’d recommend getting there a bit early if you’re driving. Alternatively, consider taking public transport since the area is well-connected!

Just did the Delicious Donuts tour! It was amazing!

I went on the Delicious Donuts of Harvard Square tour last weekend, and wow, what an experience! We started at Union Square Donuts, and they were to die for! The historical bits about Harvard were surprisingly interesting. The seasonal flavors at the second stop were a nice touch too. Definitely try the loukoumades at Saloniki - they’re like Greek donuts and just perfection! Would totally recommend this as a gift!

Thinking about gifting this tour, but need some details!

I'm looking to get this Delicious Donuts experience for my friend's birthday. They love food tours, but I'm a bit worried about the walking involved. How much walking is it really? Also, is there a way to customize the donut choices? Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried it!
