Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels.  Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

Q: Is there an age limit for the Denali ATV Trailblazer tour?

A: There is no strict age limit for the Denali ATV Trailblazer tour, but kids need to be at least 12 years old to drive their own ATV. If they’re younger, they can ride as passengers in the side-by-side ATVs. Just make sure they’re comfortable with the ride since it can get bumpy!

Q: What should we wear for the ATV tour? Any tips?

A: Wear layers! The weather can change quickly in Denali, so a waterproof jacket and boots are a must. Also, gloves are helpful for grip and warmth. And don't forget sunglasses to protect against glare from the sun on the trails!

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate! Just get in touch with Denali ATV Adventures as soon as possible, and they’ll help you find another time that works. Weather in Alaska can be unpredictable, so they’re pretty flexible with changes.

Just did the Denali ATV tour! Here’s my review!

OMG, the Denali ATV Trailblazer tour was an absolute blast! The landscape is stunning, and we had the best guide who shared tons of cool facts about the area. Riding through the taiga was an adventure I’ll never forget. Definitely recommend wearing layers and being ready to get a little muddy! Can’t wait to do it again!
