Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for this tour, but it's more suitable for older kids and adults since it involves some walking and driving in mountain areas. If you’re taking younger kids, just keep in mind that some parts may be a bit challenging for them, especially the Buffalo Herd Overlook area. But overall, it’s a fun experience for the family!
A: If the weather looks really bad, the tour operator usually contacts you to see if you’d like to reschedule. They’re pretty accommodating with changing dates as long as you give them enough notice. Just keep an eye on the forecast, and you should be good!
A: For the most part, the walking is pretty easy, especially around Red Rocks and Golden. There are a few slight inclines at Lookout Mountain, but nothing too demanding. Just wear comfortable shoes, and you’ll be fine! Definitely a good tour for people who want scenic views without too much physical strain.

Thinking about gifting the Denver tour – any thoughts?
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves nature and photography, so I thought this could be perfect! I saw it starts at Larimer Square and goes to Red Rocks and then Lookout Mountain? That sounds epic! Just wondering if anyone has done this or if you think it’s a good gift idea?
Just finished the Denver Foothills tour, and wow!
I just got back from the Denver and Foothills Mountain tour and I had such a blast! Starting at Larimer Square and seeing Red Rocks was such a treat. I loved learning about the history at Buffalo Bill Museum too. If you’re considering it, just go for it! Bring a camera and some good walking shoes. The drive was so scenic!
