Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participants on the Desert Canyoneering Adventure?

A: Yes, the age limit is usually around 12 years old, but it depends on the specific provider's policy. Since this is a physical activity that includes rappelling, younger participants need to be supervised closely. It's best to check with Adventure On Purpose directly for the exact age requirements!

Q: What kind of gear do we need to wear for the canyoning trip?

A: You should wear sturdy hiking shoes, preferably something with good grip since you'll be navigating rocky terrain. Also, lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, especially since you're in the Sonoran Desert!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the day of the adventure? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather is unsafe for the canyoneering adventure, they usually offer a reschedule option. Just make sure to contact them at least a day in advance to get it sorted out. Safety comes first, but they’re usually pretty flexible!

Incredible Experience at the Desert Canyoneering Adventure!

Just got back from the Desert Canyoneering Adventure in Scottsdale, and wow, what a rush! The 150ft rappel was scary but exhilarating. Our guide was so chill and made sure everyone felt safe. I went with a group of friends, and we all had a blast exploring the canyons and clambering under those massive boulders. It's perfect for anyone who loves outdoor adventures! Highly recommend!

Thinking about gifting the Desert Canyoneering Adventure!

I’m considering this for my sister's birthday. She loves the outdoors but is a bit nervous about the rappelling part. Do you think it’s suitable for a first-timer? Also, how's the pickup/drop-off process?
