You can come as a single or in groups of two, three, or more. Our parasailing equipment can hold two to three people side by side. We inspect our parasailing equipment daily to ensure you have a fun, safe, and thrilling ride.

Q: Is there an age limit for the parasailing experience in Destin?

A: Yes, kids must be at least 6 years old to parasail with Pelican Adventures. However, they do need to be able to fit into the harness comfortably. If you're taking younger kids, you might want to check if they can sit with an adult in the harness because sometimes they allow it. Just make sure to call ahead and confirm the policy!

Q: What should I wear for the parasailing adventure?

A: Dress comfortably! You’ll want to wear a swimsuit and bring a light cover-up, since you'll be on the boat too. Flip-flops are great, but consider sandals that won’t fly off. Also, don’t forget sunscreen! You can get pretty burnt up there at 400 feet!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: Yes, Pelican Adventures is pretty flexible. If the weather looks bad on the day of your booking, they’ll usually give you a call to reschedule. They want to make sure everyone has a good time and stays safe. Just keep an eye on the forecast and don’t hesitate to reach out to them!

I just got back from parasailing with Pelican Adventures in Destin, and OMG it was incredible! We went up 400 feet and the views were insane. The crew was super friendly and made sure we felt safe the whole time. I went with my best friend and we shared a harness, which made it even better! If you're thinking of giving this as a gift, do it! It’s totally worth it.
