Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for this outdoor murder mystery game?

A: There's no strict age limit! It’s designed for families, so kids can definitely join in. Just make sure they can read and solve puzzles. I took my 12-year-old, and we had a blast! Just keep an eye on them during the outdoor parts.

Q: How does the pause/resume feature work? Can we do it multiple times?

A: You can pause whenever you want! Just use the app and it saves your progress. I paused it to grab lunch and it was super easy to pick up right where we left off. You can do this as many times as you need, which is awesome for a day out in Detroit!

Q: What's the best time of year to do this? Are there any weather concerns?

A: Late spring or early fall is perfect! The weather in Detroit is nice during those times. Just be careful in winter; it can get icy and you'll want to avoid snow if you can. They do have a backup plan for bad weather though, just check before you head out.

Just did the Detroit Murder Mystery and it was a blast!

Hey everyone! I took my partner on the outdoor murder mystery game in Detroit last weekend, and we had so much fun! The GPS and storyline are super engaging, plus the puzzles were challenging but not impossible. We ended up taking a lunch break halfway through, and it was so nice to be able to pause the game. Highly recommend this for a unique date idea!

Considering gifting the Murder Mystery Experience for my family!

I’m thinking about giving this outdoor murder mystery as a gift for my family’s next outing. Has anyone done it with kids? I'm hoping it’ll be fun and keep everyone engaged. Any tips on the best way to plan it out? Thanks!
