Q&A
A: Definitely wear sturdy hiking shoes as it can get slippery, especially on the Manoa Falls trail. I'd recommend moisture-wicking clothes since it can be hot and humid. A light rain jacket might come in handy too, just in case it rains—especially in Manoa! Don't forget sunscreen and a hat for that Diamond Head sun.
A: Parking can be a bit tricky at Diamond Head. There is a lot, but it fills up quickly, especially on weekends. I’d recommend arriving early or using a rideshare service if you can. If the lot is full, there are a few street parking options, but you might have to walk a bit.
A: Yes, kids can join the hikes! The Diamond Head trail is about 1.6 miles round trip and is pretty manageable for kids, but just keep an eye on them as there are some steep areas. As for Manoa Falls, it's suitable for older kids who can handle a bit of mud and climbing. Just make sure they’re up for it!

Thinking about gifting the Diamond Head and Manoa Falls tour, any tips?
I’m considering this tour for my partner’s birthday! The idea of hiking Diamond Head and seeing Manoa Falls sounds amazing. I’ve heard the views at the top are incredible! Has anyone here done this? What was your experience like, and is it worth it? Also, how long do you spend at each location?
Just did the Diamond Head and Manoa Falls hike, it was epic!
Wow, I can’t recommend this experience enough! The hike up Diamond Head was challenging but so worth it for the views of Waikiki. Manoa Falls was more magical than I expected. Just be prepared for mud! I thought I’d have to cancel because of the weather, but it turned out to be perfect. Definitely bring water and a camera!
