Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Diamond Head hike? Can kids join?

A: Great question! There’s really no strict age limit for the Diamond Head hike. Kids are definitely welcome, but keep in mind the trail can be steep and challenging in some spots. I’d recommend it for kids who are at least 5 or so and can handle a bit of walking. Just be sure they have good shoes and plenty of water!

Q: What should I wear for the Diamond Head hike? Any tips?

A: Definitely pack for comfort! Wear lightweight, breathable clothing and sturdy shoes—sneakers will do, but hiking shoes are better. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat since it can get pretty sunny up there! Bring a small daypack for water and snacks too.

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up last minute?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Blue Lei Hawaii Tours is pretty flexible, but make sure to let them know at least 24 hours in advance. Just contact them directly, and they’ll help you find another date. It’s always good to have a backup plan!

Just did the Diamond Head hike, and I can’t stop smiling!

OMG, I just got back from the Diamond Head Hiking Experience and it was incredible! The views at the top were absolutely breathtaking. The early morning air was refreshing, and our driver from Waikiki was super chill. I totally recommend it as a gift! Just be ready for some steep parts, but any fit person should manage fine. And pro tip: bring water!

Considering gifting the Diamond Head hike experience for my sister!

I’m thinking about giving my sister the Diamond Head Hiking Experience. She loves the outdoors and usually goes hiking on weekends. The roundtrip transportation sounds convenient since she wouldn’t have to deal with parking. Has anyone done it recently? Was it worth the price?
