Q&A
A: There is no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for those 12 and up since there might be some swimming and moving around the dinghy. Younger kids can definitely go, but make sure they’re good in the water and can follow instructions from the captain. Just keep in mind the experience is more geared toward adults having fun at the bars too!
A: The launch point is usually near the main docks in Key West, and most people either drive or use ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft. If you drive, try to arrive early because parking can be tough to find, especially on weekends. You might have to walk a bit from your parking spot to the dock, so just keep that in mind!
A: Casual is definitely the way to go! You’ll want to wear a swimsuit under your clothes since you might get wet while swimming or wading. Flip flops or water shoes are great too. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, because you’ll be out on the water for a bit. If you’re stopping at bars, you can dress up slightly but keep it comfy!

Just did the Dinghy Drinking Tour in Key West, and wow!
I went on the Dinghy Drinking Tour last weekend, and it was such a blast! Our captain was super chill, and we made 3 stops at these amazing waterfront bars. The scenery was gorgeous, especially going through the mangroves! Just a heads up, be ready to duck a lot haha! I brought some beers and the cooler they provided kept everything cold. Highly recommend this for a fun day out!
Considering the Dinghy Drinking Tour as a gift - any advice?
I’m thinking of gifting the Dinghy Drinking Tour to my friends who are visiting Key West soon. They love the water, and the idea of stopping at bars sounds perfect! Just wondering if the boat gets bumpy or if it’s chill for a first-timer. What do you think?
