Q&A
A: Yes, there is an age limit. Kids need to be at least 7 years old to ride on their own. Younger kids can ride with an adult, but you'll need to check with Heart Six Ranch for specific guidelines. It's a great experience for families, just make sure your kids are comfortable with horses!
A: Definitely go casual but keep comfort in mind! Wear long pants and sturdy shoes, and a hat can be super helpful for sun protection. The ride can get a bit dusty, so don't wear anything too fancy! A light jacket might be good if you're going in the cooler months.
A: Yes, Heart Six Ranch has a rescheduling policy for bad weather! If conditions are unsafe, they will reach out to you and offer options to change your booking. Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your ride.

I just booked this for my partner's birthday and I'm sooo excited! It's a horseback ride in Yellowstone, and I hear the picnic lunch is amazing! I can't wait to take some stunning photos. Has anyone done this? Any tips for what to bring?
Dinner Cookout Ride - What a fantastic experience!
Just got back from the Dinner Cookout Ride at Heart Six Ranch, and wow, it was incredible! The scenery was breathtaking and the horses were super well-trained. The lunch was a perfect break, and they provided a nice picnic setup. It was a bit dusty, so be prepared for that! Highly recommend it for nature lovers!
