Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this boat tour?

A: Nope, there are no strict age limits for the eco tour! It’s family-friendly, so kids can definitely join in on the fun. Just make sure they're comfortable on the water. Captain Derek and Jake do a great job keeping it safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Q: What should we wear for the boat tour?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable! Light clothing and a swimsuit work well, especially since it can get warm out there. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. If you’re prone to getting cold, maybe bring a light jacket just in case the breeze picks up.

Q: What’s the best time of year to go on this tour?

A: The best time is usually from late spring to early fall. The weather is warm, and you get the most chance to see manatees and other wildlife. Winter can be good too, but it’s cooler and some folks might not enjoy being on the water as much. Just check the weather before heading out!

Just came back from the Crystal River boat tour and wow!

I gifted this private boat tour to my parents, and they absolutely loved it! Captain Derek was super knowledgeable about the springs and the wildlife. They said they saw manatees and even some dolphins! The tour lasted about 1.5 hours, so it was just the right amount of time. They brought some snacks and drinks, which was a great idea. Overall, highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day on the water!

Planning to book the Crystal River eco tour soon!

I’m really excited to take my family on this tour in a few weeks! I’ve heard great things about it. Just curious if anyone has tips on parking or anything else I should know before we go? Also, is it easy to reschedule if something comes up?
