Napa is home to over 500 wineries, so finding the right one for your palate can be a challenge! Allow me to introduce you to a few of the best kept secrets in the valley. While everyone knows the big names along Highway 29, I will take you to two small, family owned, artisanal cellars that most people (even locals!) have never heard of. We'll talk sustainable farming (the difference between industrial, organic, and biodynamic), wild yeast fermentation, traditional winemaking practices, and the best part, talking about and tasting the wines themselves. In between our tastings (each visit should last between 90-120 minutes), we'll lunch at a renowned Napa Valley restaurant, where we can enjoy a few wines as they were intended: alongside a meal. Tours are limited to 4 guests to allows for an intimate and personalized experience. If you don't see the day or time that fits your schedule, feel free to reach out and we can find something that works for you!

Q&A

Q: Is there a specific dress code for the tours? What should I wear?

A: You don't need to go all out, but it's best to dress smart casual. Napa can get warm, so maybe a nice sundress or slacks and a shirt. Comfortable shoes are a must since there might be some walking around the wineries. Don't forget a light jacket in case it gets breezy in the evening!

Q: Can anyone go on this tour, or is it only for wine experts?

A: This tour is great for everyone! Whether you're a newbie or a wine connoisseur, the local sommelière tailors the experience to your knowledge level. Plus, it's super chill, and you don’t need to know everything about wine to enjoy it. Just come ready to learn and have fun!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Do they cancel the tour?

A: They typically operate rain or shine! However, if there are severe weather conditions, you can usually reschedule. It’s always best to check with the provider ahead of time if you’re concerned. They’re pretty flexible and want to make sure you have a great experience.

Considering gifting the Napa Valley tour - any thoughts?

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the 'Discover Napa Valley’s Hidden Gems' tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love wine but haven’t explored Napa much. I love that it’s a small group and includes lunch at a nice restaurant too. Has anyone done this? Was it worth the price?

Just did the Napa tour - here’s my recap!

OMG, I just got back from the 'Discover Napa Valley’s Hidden Gems' tour and it was fantastic! We hit two super cute family-owned wineries and learned so much about winemaking. The lunch was delicious too. If you’re thinking of booking, just do it! Such a great gift for anyone who enjoys wine.
