Q: Can kids really do this tour? What's the age limit?

A: Yes! This guided kayak tour is great for beginners and kids aged 8 and up. My 9-year-old loved it and had no trouble paddling. Just make sure they can follow instructions and feel comfortable in a kayak. They’ll have an awesome time spotting sea turtles!

Q: What should I wear for the kayak tour? Is it really casual?

A: Definitely keep it casual! Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes. Also, a rash guard is a good idea since you might get splashed. Don’t forget water shoes if you have them, and maybe bring a hat and sunglasses. Enjoy the tacos afterwards!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks sketchy, they’ll usually let you know the day before. You can reschedule or get a refund if it’s canceled. I had to postpone our tour because of rain, but they were really accommodating and super helpful about it!

Had the best time on the kayak tour!

Just got back from the Discover Popoia Island kayak tour and it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun. Paddling out to the island took about 30 minutes, and we saw a bunch of sea turtles along the way! The tacos at the end were the cherry on top - seriously, those were the best tacos I've had in a while. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun day in Oahu!

I’m thinking of getting the Discover Popoia Island kayak tour for my brother’s birthday. He loves the ocean but has never kayaked before. I just want to make sure it’s a good experience for him. Any feedback from people who've done this tour before? What was your favorite part?
