Q&A
A: The hike is moderately strenuous, which means it might be a bit challenging for first-time hikers, but it's definitely doable for most people in decent shape. Just be prepared for some elevation and rocky paths. I'd suggest wearing good hiking boots and bringing plenty of water. If they’re up for a little challenge, they should be fine!
A: Wear comfortable hiking clothes, breathable fabrics are great since it can get hot out there. Sturdy hiking boots are a must for the trails, and don’t forget a hat and sunscreen. For the 4x4 ride, something like a light jacket might be good for the wind. Always best to check the weather for the day of your trip!
A: If conditions are unsafe, they will typically cancel the tour and you’ll be able to reschedule or get a full refund if you give at least 24 hours notice. I’d recommend keeping an eye on the forecast leading up to the day and reach out to the provider to get their policy on bad weather. Just in case!

Thinking of gifting the Hidden Arches hike! Anyone done it?
I’m looking to get this experience for my partner’s birthday. The idea of hiking to a secluded arch sounds amazing! But is the 4x4 ride afterwards worth it? Also, how hard is the hike really? They aren't super experienced but love nature.
Just finished the Hidden Arches hike, what an experience!
I surprised my brother with this gift, and it was EPIC. The hike was manageable, and the view of the arch is like something out of a movie. The 4x4 ride was a blast too! Just make sure to keep hydrated, it gets hot out there. Can't recommend this enough!
