Is the UCSD self-guided tour really worth it?

I’m thinking of getting this tour as a gift for my sister who’s applying to colleges. Is it as fun and informative as it sounds? I love that it’s self-paced and free, but would it actually give her a good feel of the campus? Any tips?

Just did the UCSD tour - here’s my experience!

We explored UCSD last weekend, and it was such a cool experience! The audio guide was super informative about the buildings and traditions. I recommend wearing comfy shoes since you’ll be walking around a lot. We even found some hidden spots that weren’t mentioned online. Definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon in La Jolla!
