Q&A
A: Yes, there is a minimum age requirement. Kids need to be at least 8 years old to participate in the ride. If you have younger kids, they can still come along but won’t be able to ride on the sled. It’s an amazing experience for families, so don’t hesitate to bring the whole crew!
A: You don't need to worry too much about gear since they provide loaner winter parkas! I’d still recommend wearing layers underneath to stay warm, especially if you're sensitive to the cold. Thick gloves, warm hats, and snow pants are also a good idea. Just be prepared for some snow and wind!
A: They usually only cancel if it’s really unsafe, like extreme blizzards. Otherwise, they might just adapt the schedule a bit. If you book, I’d suggest checking the weather a few days ahead and calling them if you're unsure. They’re great about communicating any changes!

Thinking of gifting a dog sledding adventure in Willow!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting this dog sledding adventure in Willow, Alaska, for my partner’s birthday. The fact that it’s a family-owned kennel with Iditarod dogs sounds incredible! I’d love to know more about what the experience is like, especially the ride itself. Also, how do you guys think it’d go in early December? Any tips on making this special?
Had the best time dog sledding in Willow!
Guys, I just got back from the dog sledding adventure, and it was epic! The dogs are so friendly and strong. The ride through the snow-covered trails was breathtaking. They give you warm beverages and snacks afterward, which is the perfect touch. I’m definitely going back and highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves dogs or the outdoors.
