Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the dog sledding experience in North Pole, Alaska?

A: You don’t have to worry too much since they provide all outer layers, including boots and jackets! Just wear warm layers underneath, like thermal tops and leggings. I wore a beanie and some thick socks, which really helped. The ride was chilly, but the gear they give you keeps you pretty warm.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the dog sledding experience?

A: Yes, they recommend kids be at least 8 years old. However, if your child is younger, they might still let them ride on your lap. Just check with the guide when booking! It’s super fun for families!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate. Just make sure to call them ahead of time. They’re pretty flexible as long as you give them some notice! We had to change our date due to a snowstorm, and they were super accommodating.

Just got back from the dog sledding experience and wow!

I went dog sledding in North Pole, Alaska last week and it was unreal! The ride was about 30 minutes, and the scenery was just breathtaking. The guide was super informative, and I loved getting to meet the Alaskan Huskies. They even let us take pictures with them! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique gift or adventure. The cold wasn’t too bad in the provided gear, but don’t forget to wear warm layers underneath!

Considering dog sledding for my husband's birthday!

I’m thinking about gifting my husband the dog sledding experience in North Pole, Alaska. He loves dogs and outdoor adventures! I’m a little nervous about the cold, though. Is it really as fun as it sounds? Also, how do you get there? Any tips would be appreciated!
