Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this Dolphin and Manatee tour?

A: There are no strict age restrictions for the Dolphin and Manatee Tour. Kids as young as 5 can join, but it's important for them to be comfortable in the water. Make sure they wear life vests which are provided. Just a heads up, younger kids might need some help with paddling on the kayaks or SUPs!

Q: What's the best time of year to go kayaking in Marco Island?

A: I'd recommend going between November and April. The weather is perfect then—warm but not too hot—and it's less humid. Plus, that's when you're more likely to see dolphins and manatees since they come into the area more often. Just check the local forecast too before heading out!

Q: What should we wear for the Dolphin and Manatee tour?

A: Definitely wear water-friendly clothing! A swimsuit and a rash guard are great options. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses to protect against the sun. Sandals or water shoes are best since you’ll be getting in and out of the kayak or SUP. And if you can, bring a light jacket for the early morning tours—sometimes it can get a bit chilly!

Just booked the Dolphin and Manatee tour for my family!

I'm super excited! We got our spots for next weekend at Three Brothers Boards. I love the idea of kayaking and hopefully seeing some dolphins up close. We’re bringing our 6-year-old, but I'm nervous about how he’ll handle it. Any tips for making it easier for him?

Anyone else have a memorable experience on the Marco Island tour?

I went a few weeks ago and it was absolutely incredible! We saw so many dolphins playing around us and even spotted a manatee while we were stopped for a break. The guides were super knowledgeable and made the experience even better with their local history stories. Highly recommend it as a gift for nature lovers!
