When I'm not in the freshwater and want to head to the beach, this is one of my new favorite places to go! We will paddle the North Indian River Lagoon looking for all kinds of wildlife. The most common we see are the dolphins, aquatic birds, sting rays, and sea turtles with the occasional appearance of a manatee or two. We may stop at one of the Islands to stretch our legs and play in the water along the way (please bring water shoes if you want to get in the water). We paddle about 1.5 miles and the tour starts and ends in the same location. (there is a max weight limit of 250lbs for the single kayaks and 450lbs for the tandem)****Please note if you need a two person tandem****My kayak tours are capped at 6 kayaks per tour, perfect for families and smaller groups! **This tour has a 2 guest minimum**

Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Dolphin and Wildlife Tour?

A: Definitely wear something you don't mind getting wet! Shorts and a quick-drying shirt are great. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen since you'll be out in the sun for a bit. Water shoes are a must if you're planning on getting into the water at the islands, so pack those too!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids usually need to be able to sit in the kayak and follow instructions. If they’re under 12, it’s recommended to go for a tandem kayak with an adult. Just make sure they're comfortable in the water!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather isn't safe for kayaking, the tour will be rescheduled. You'll usually get a message the night before if there's a concern. Just make sure to have a flexible schedule to rebook as soon as possible!

Just went on the Dolphin and Wildlife Tour - it was amazing!

I took my girlfriend on the Dolphin and Wildlife Tour at Indian River Shores last weekend, and it was such a great experience! We saw so many dolphins swimming near our kayaks and even spotted a couple of sting rays. The guide was super knowledgeable and pointed out cool wildlife along the way. The stop at the island was a perfect break for some fun in the water. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a unique gift or just a fun day out!

Thinking about booking this tour as a gift - any advice?

I'm planning to get this Dolphin and Wildlife Tour for my parents who love nature. I'm a bit unsure about the logistics, like the best time of year to go or if they need to be physically fit. Has anyone done it recently? Would love some advice!
