Q&A

Q: Is this kayak tour suitable for younger kids?

A: Yes! The dolphin kayak tour at Folly Beach is perfect for kids ages 8 and up. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a parent or guardian in their kayak to help them out. The instructors are super friendly and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable on the water.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?

A: If the weather looks sketchy, the tour company will reach out to you to reschedule. They really prioritize safety and won’t take you out if it’s unsafe. So, no worries! Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your day.

Q: How difficult is the kayaking? I'm a total beginner.

A: Honestly, it’s super beginner-friendly! The instructors start with a ground school to teach you the basics, and the Folly River is pretty calm. You’ll be paddling alongside dolphins and birds before you know it! Just remember to relax and enjoy the scenery.
