Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the downhill bike tour?

A: Great question! Kids as young as 3 can join the tour, thanks to the available bike trailers. The bikes are suitable for older kids too, so it’s really family-friendly. Just make sure they’re comfortable with biking and the hike isn’t too steep for them!

Q: What should we wear for the hike and bike tour? Is it muddy?

A: Definitely wear breathable clothes! The hike can get a bit muddy if it rained recently, so closed-toe shoes are a must. Layers are a good idea too since it gets cooler at higher elevations. And don’t forget sunscreen!

Q: What's the parking situation like for this tour?

A: Parking can be tricky! The tour includes hotel pickup which is super convenient, but if you’re driving, there's limited street parking near the meeting point. Arrive early if you want to find a spot.

Thinking of gifting the Downhill Bike and Ko'olau Waterfall Hike Tour!

Hey guys! I’m considering this as a gift for my sister's family trip to Hawaii. It sounds amazing with the hidden waterfall and the downhill biking part. I read that the views are incredible from the 2,000 ft drop. Has anyone done it? Would it be good for kids too? Any tips?

Just got back from the Ko'olau hike and bike tour!

OMG, this tour was everything! The hike was super easy and the waterfall was like something out of a movie! Then biking down those hills with the views of Waikiki was a whole vibe. I’d highly recommend it for anyone visiting Honolulu. Just a heads up, make sure to check the weather because we almost got rained out!
