Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour? Can younger ones join?

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids can definitely join. Just keep in mind that they need to be able to sit safely, so it’s best if they’re at least 6 years old. The bike has a safe bench in the back that can accommodate younger riders, and they’ll love the ice cream stops too! Just bring along some kid-friendly snacks, and you're good to go.

Q: What happens if the weather's bad? Do they cancel the tour?

A: They'll usually run the tour unless it’s dangerous weather, like heavy rain or high winds. If they do have to cancel, they’ll reach out to you to reschedule or offer a refund. Just make sure to check the forecast ahead of your day!

Q: How hard is it to pedal? Is it good for older folks?

A: The pedal vehicle does a lot of the work, so it’s not super strenuous! It’s perfect for all ages and abilities. There’s a bench for those who want to relax while others pedal, and the guide makes sure to keep a nice pace. Everyone can join in on the fun without feeling overexerted.

Just did the Downtown Anchorage Tour—what a blast!

I just took my family on the Downtown Anchorage Tour, and wow, it was so much fun! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the local history, and we got to stop at a couple of eateries for snacks. The kids loved the ice cream stop. We even brought some local beers to enjoy while pedaling around. The whole vibe was just awesome, can't recommend it enough!

Thinking about gifting this tour—any tips?

I’m looking to get this Downtown Anchorage Tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves trying new things and exploring local spots. Any tips on the best time to go or what to bring along? I want it to be super special!
