Guided from your smart phone, teams make their way among well known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges, while learning local history. Q: Is there an age limit for the scavenger hunt? Can kids join?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the scavenger hunt! Kids can definitely join in on the fun, but keep in mind that the challenges might be better suited for older kids and adults. It’s a great family activity, especially if you’ve got a mix of ages. Just make sure everyone can walk and follow clues without too much help!

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the scavenger hunt?

A: If it rains, Urban Adventure Quest usually allows you to reschedule. Just give them a call or email them on the day of if you're unsure. It’s best to check their policy beforehand, but I've heard they’re pretty accommodating about weather-related issues!

Q: What should we wear and bring for the scavenger hunt?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! You’ll be walking a lot, and Austin can get hot, so dress for the weather. A hat and sunscreen are good ideas in the summer. As for what to bring, just a charged smartphone, some water, and maybe a small backpack for snacks. You’ll want to stay hydrated while you solve those clues!

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Downtown Austin Scavenger Hunt for my friends' anniversary. They love exploring new places, and I think this could be perfect for them! Has anyone done it before? How hard are the clues? Also, is there a good time of year to do it?

Just did the scavenger hunt in Austin and it was awesome!

So I just finished the Downtown Austin Scavenger Hunt with my family, and OMG, we had the best time! The clues were a mix of easy and tricky, which made it super engaging. We discovered some hidden gems I’ve never even noticed. Highly recommend it! It was around 3 hours, and we felt like we got a little workout too!
