Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this audio tour? Can kids join?

A: There’s no official age limit for the tour, so kids can absolutely join! It’s a pretty family-friendly experience. Just keep in mind that you’ll be walking for about an hour, so they should be able to keep up. You may want to bring snacks or a stroller for younger ones, especially since there are plenty of places to stop and grab a quick bite.

Q: How easy is it to navigate the audio tour? Do I need to be tech-savvy?

A: The VoiceMap app is super user-friendly! You don't need to be tech-savvy at all. Just download it, and it'll guide you through using GPS. Plus, it’s offline once you download the tour, so no worries about data. I’m not great with tech, and I managed just fine!

Q: What’s the parking situation near Carmel Plaza? Is it hard to find a spot?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends, but there are some lots and street parking around. I recommend getting there early to snag a spot, or try using the parking app for real-time info! The Carmel Plaza itself has a parking area which is pretty convenient since that's where the tour starts.

Excited for the Downtown Carmel Audio Tour! Any tips?

I'm planning to take my sister for her birthday, and I can’t wait! We love exploring new areas together. The idea of wandering through Carmel’s art galleries and wine rooms sounds amazing. Does anyone have tips on spots to stop for food or drinks while on the tour? Also, how's the audio quality?

Has anyone done the Carmel walking audio tour recently?

Thinking about getting this for my parents as an anniversary gift. They enjoy walking and love history. Is it worth it? How long did you spend on the tour? I'm curious if they can customize their pace.
