Q&A
A: Kids are definitely welcome on the Downtown Cary Historian-Guided Tour! It's a great way for them to learn about local history in a fun way. Just keep in mind that some sites may not be super engaging for younger kids, but most families with kids around 8+ really enjoy it. If you have toddlers, you'll want to bring a stroller for some of the walking parts.
A: There is moderate walking involved, but it’s not super strenuous. You’ll want to wear comfortable shoes since you'll be on your feet for a couple of hours. Dress in layers, too! Depending on the weather, it can get a bit chilly in the evening, especially in fall.
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather is bad! The tour provider is pretty flexible about that. Just check in with them a day or so ahead of time if forecasted weather looks sketchy, and they’ll help you set up a new date. They want to make sure everyone has a great experience!

Just did the Downtown Cary Historian-Guided Tour - so fun!
I took the Downtown Cary tour last week and it was amazing! Our guide had so many great stories about the Page-Walker Hotel and the historical significance of Ashworth Drugs. I didn't realize how much history was right in my backyard! The tour lasted about 2.5 hours, and I’d recommend wearing comfy shoes. Definitely a great gift idea for my history-loving friends.

I’m thinking about getting the Downtown Cary Historian-Guided Tour as a gift for my parents. They love history and walking tours! Is it suitable for older folks? Also, what's the experience like? Any tips would be great!
