Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this walking tour?

A: Great question! There’s no official age limit, but it's best suited for kids over 10 since it’s a 2-hour walking tour. Younger kids might get tired or bored. Make sure they’re comfortable walking and can handle the pace! Also, the guide can accommodate families and might keep it a bit more engaging for the younger ones.

Q: What's the best way to get to the meeting point for this tour?

A: You can take the subway to Haymarket Station, which is just a short walk from Faneuil Hall! There’s also street parking nearby, but it can be tricky to find a spot, especially on weekends. If you’re driving, I’d suggest arriving early or checking for nearby parking garages.

Q: What should I wear for the walking tour? Is it casual or more formal?

A: Totally casual is the way to go! Wear comfortable shoes since there’s a lot of walking on cobblestones. Layering is smart too, as Boston can get chilly in the evenings. Just be ready to stroll and enjoy the sights, not to impress anyone!

Just finished the Downtown Freedom Trail tour, and it was amazing!

I went on the Downtown Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill & Back Bay Walking Tour last weekend, and wow, I loved it! The guide was super knowledgeable and made Boston’s history come alive. I especially enjoyed the walk through Beacon Hill—those brownstones are stunning! The 2 hours flew by. Definitely a great gift for anyone who loves history or architecture. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes!

Thinking of gifting the Boston Walking Tour—any thoughts?

I’m considering this Downtown Freedom Trail tour for my mom's birthday. She loves history but isn’t super fit. Is it a good fit for a casual walker? Would love to hear if anyone's had experience with it!
