Q&A
A: Honestly, I think fall is the best! The weather is usually crisp, and the Halloween vibes are perfect for a ghost tour. Plus, you get to see Mystic all dressed up for the season. I went in October, and the lighting made the stories even creepier. Just be sure to dress warmly as it can get chilly at night.
A: Yes, kids can join! It’s a family-friendly tour, but keep in mind that some stories can be a bit spooky for younger ones. I brought my 10-year-old and he loved it, but I think some parts made him a bit jumpy, which was fun! Just be sure to prep them for some ghostly tales.
A: Dress in layers! The tour is mostly outside, and it can get chilly by the water at night. I wore a light jacket over a hoodie, which was perfect. Also, comfy shoes are a must since you'll be walking a bit on uneven streets. Bring a flashlight if you have one, too! It adds to the atmosphere.

Just did the Downtown Mystic Ghost Tour and WOW!
I went on the Downtown Mystic Ghost Tour last weekend, and I can't stop thinking about it! Our guide was super knowledgeable and had some creepy stories about the old ships and even some local legends. We walked through the historic downtown area, and it was just the right amount of spooky. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to learn some cool history while getting a few chills! One of the best nights I've had in Mystic for sure.
Considering the Downtown Mystic Ghost Tour as a gift—thoughts?
I'm thinking about getting the Downtown Mystic Ghost Tour for my sister's birthday. She's really into spooky stuff and loves historical tours. Do you think it’s worth it? What did you all think of the experience? Any tips for first-timers? Really want to make this a fun surprise for her!
