Q&A
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dusty! The jeep tour is pretty bumpy, so something like hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers is ideal. Also, layering is smart because it can get chilly in the mountains but warm up during the day.
A: Yes, kids can join! There’s no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for kids 5 and older for the jeep tour. Just check with the provider about car seats if you have younger ones. It’s a great family-friendly adventure, and my kids loved it!
A: Yes, the Durango train has accessible options available! Just make sure to call ahead to arrange it. The views from the train and jeep are just incredible, so it's worth checking. I’d hate for someone to miss out because of mobility issues!

Just did the Durango Train and Jeep Tour - Amazing!
I just got back from the Durango Train and Silverton Jeep Tour and wow, what a day! The ride up the San Juan Skyway was stunning, and the jeep tour was such a thrill! We saw old mining camps and the guide shared the coolest stories. The train ride back was the perfect way to end the day. Totally recommend it for anyone who’s into nature and a bit of adventure!
Thinking of gifting the Durango Train and Jeep Tour!
I'm considering this experience for my partner’s bday. We love hiking and exploring, and this seems perfect. Anyone know if the jeep tour is really bumpy? Also, how's the food in Silverton? Any tips for first-timers?
