Q&A

Q: Does the Dyker Lights Trolley ride have an age limit for kids?

A: There's no strict age limit for kids, but it's a family-friendly experience, so younger kids usually have a blast! Just keep in mind that some of the walking might be a bit much for little ones. Make sure they can handle the 1-hour tour around Dyker Heights. Pack some snacks just in case!

Q: Can you reschedule if there’s bad weather on the day of the tour?

A: Absolutely! If the weather's really bad, they usually let you reschedule for another night. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when you book, but I've heard it’s pretty flexible during the winter season.

Q: What should I wear for the Trolley experience? Is it cold in December?

A: Definitely layer up! It can get pretty chilly walking around Dyker Heights in December, so wear warm clothes and maybe a good pair of boots. You’ll be outside for the walking tour, but the trolley is heated, so that’s a nice break. A hat and gloves are a good idea too!

Thinking about gifting the Dyker Lights experience this year!

I’m considering getting the Dyker Lights Trolley Experience for my parents as a Christmas gift. They love holiday lights and Brooklyn is only a train ride away for them. I’ve heard the decorations are amazing! How's the photo op at Dumbo? Does it really have a nice view of the Brooklyn Bridge? Also, any tips for making the most of the night?

Just did the Dyker Lights tour and it was phenomenal!

OMG, I just got back from the Dyker Lights Trolley Experience and I can’t even describe how beautiful it was! The decorations are truly out of this world. The tour guide was super knowledgeable, and we laughed a lot. DUMBO was the icing on the cake—got some awesome shots with the skyline. Highly recommend if you're thinking about it for the holidays!
