Q&A
A: Yes, there is an age requirement. Typically, riders need to be at least 16 years old to rent an e-bike. However, younger riders can ride with a parent or guardian's consent. Just make sure they’re comfortable handling the bike since some routes can get a bit hilly!
A: Comfortable clothing is best for this experience! Think shorts or leggings and a moisture-wicking shirt since you might break a sweat, especially if you tackle some hills. Don’t forget to wear closed-toe shoes! The e-bikes do all the heavy lifting, but you’ll still get a bit of a workout.
A: Absolutely! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can easily reschedule your rental. Just make sure to give them a call or email as early as possible to set up a new time. The Hood River area is beautiful, so it’s worth waiting for a nice day!

Thinking about getting an e-bike rental in Hood River for a gift - any thoughts?
I’m looking to surprise my sister with a unique experience and thought the e-bike rental would be awesome! I’ve read about the scenic routes, especially through the orchards and the twin tunnels. I think she’d love the views of Mt. Hood! The price is right, but I’m wondering how long the rentals last and whether it's actually easy for beginners?
Just rented e-bikes in Hood River - what a blast!
I just got back from renting e-bikes at the Gorge Paddling Center! The Cannondale bikes were brand new and super easy to handle. We took the route that goes through the cherry orchards and the twin tunnels. Stunning views, and totally worth it! If you’re thinking about it, just do it!!!
