Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to take the Early-Bird Tasting Tour?

A: I'd say spring and early summer are the best! The weather is usually mild, and the market's produce is in full swing. Plus, you get to enjoy the pastries and seafood at their freshest. But honestly, any time is great because the guide makes it fun with cool stories.

Q: Are kids allowed on the Early-Bird Tasting Tour?

A: Yes, kids are welcome! However, keep in mind that the tastings may be geared more toward adult tastes, especially the salmon and some of the pastries. Still, they usually have something for everyone and it’s a fun way to introduce them to the market.

Q: What should I wear for the Early-Bird Tasting Tour?

A: Comfort is key! Wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking around a lot. I also recommend dressing in layers because it can be cool in the morning but warms up later. A light jacket is a good idea, too!

Just did the Early-Bird Tasting Tour at Pike Place and it was amazing!

I went on the Early-Bird Tasting Tour last weekend and had such a blast! We got to try fresh fruit, some delicious salmon, and these incredible pastries from a bakery I can’t remember the name of. Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared lots of cool nuggets about the market's history. I think the best part was being there before the crowds. Totally recommend this for anyone visiting Seattle!

Thinking about gifting the Early-Bird Tasting Tour!

I’m considering this as a birthday gift for my foodie friend. Has anyone done it recently? Would love to hear your thoughts! I know they do tastings of salmon and pastries, but what else did you try? Also, any tips for making the most out of it?
