Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this whale watching cruise?

A: There's no specific age limit for kids, but I'd recommend it for ages 5 and up. They might get bored if they’re too young. The cruise is pretty family-friendly, and kids usually love seeing the whales. Just make sure to bring some snacks for them, too!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the day of the whale watching cruise?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the crew will usually notify you a day in advance. They try to reschedule if possible. If not, you’ll get a full refund. Just keep an eye on their weather policy before your trip!

Q: What's the best way to get to the cruise departure point in Waikiki?

A: The cruise departs from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. If you're staying in Waikiki, it's an easy walk! If you're coming from further away, consider ridesharing or taking a bus. Parking is limited, so it’s better to avoid bringing a car if you can!

Excited for the Whale Watching Cruise!

I'm planning to gift the Early Bird Whale Watching Cruise to my sister while she's visiting Oahu! I've read that they provide homemade pineapple banana bread and hot Kona coffee, which sounds amazing. I think she'll love spotting humpback whales and maybe even some dolphins! Does anyone have tips on the best time to go, or what to wear? Any advice would be super helpful!

Has anyone done the Early Bird Whale Watching Cruise?

Just got back from the cruise, and WOW! We saw so many whales, it was unreal! The guide was super knowledgeable, and the coffee & banana bread were a nice touch. If you're looking for awesome photos, bring a good camera! Just be prepared to get a bit wet from the spray if you're on the upper deck. Totally worth it though!
