Q&A
A: Yes, the tour is suitable for kids but they need to be at least 8 years old to rappel safely. It's a great family-friendly experience, as long as they’re up for the steep hike and can follow instructions from the guides. Make sure they are comfortable with heights, since you'll be rappelling down the slot canyon!
A: Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Sturdy hiking shoes or boots are a must since the hike can be steep and rocky. Also, bringing a light jacket is a good idea in case it gets chilly in the canyon. Don't forget your sunscreen!
A: If you need to reschedule, it's best to contact the provider directly as soon as you know. They are pretty accommodating, but do aim to give at least 24 hours notice. Keep in mind that if you're late beyond 15 minutes, you'll miss the tour, so plan ahead!

Just did the East Zion canyoneering tour - Absolutely Amazing!
I went on the East Zion 2.5 Hour Slot Canyon Canyoneering UTV Tour with my family last weekend, and wow, what an experience! The slot canyon was breathtaking, and rappelling was the highlight for my teenage kids. The guides were super professional and made us feel safe the whole time. Make sure to wear good shoes because that hike to the canyon can be steep. Totally worth it!
Considering the Slot Canyon tour as a gift - Any thoughts?
I'm thinking about getting the East Zion canyoneering tour for my sister and her family. They have kids aged 9 and 11, and they love outdoor adventures. Is it really worth the price? Also, how challenging is the rappelling for beginners?
