Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Eco Manatee and Wildlife Boat Tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the Eco Manatee and Wildlife Boat Tour! It’s great for kids and adults alike, but I’d say it’s best for ages 5 and up since younger ones might get restless. Just make sure to bring life jackets for smaller kids, as they provide them but check if you need to arrange anything special in advance.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather's not cooperating, Nature Coast Manatee Adventures will usually reschedule your tour to a later date. They’re pretty good about keeping an eye on conditions and will notify you if they need to cancel. Just keep your schedule flexible if you can, especially in the rainy season!

Q: How long is the tour and what should we wear?

A: The Eco Manatee Tour typically lasts about 2 hours, but it can vary a bit depending on wildlife sightings. As for what to wear, I’d suggest comfy clothes and sandals, but a light jacket is smart in case it gets breezy. Sunscreen is a must too, especially since you’ll be out on the water!

Thinking about gifting the Eco Manatee Tour - any tips?

I’m planning to gift the Eco Manatee and Wildlife Boat Tour to my parents for their anniversary! They love nature but aren’t big on swimming, so this seems perfect. Has anyone done it? How was the experience? Did you see a lot of manatees? Any tips for the best time to go?

Just did the Eco Manatee Tour - Amazing experience!

Just got back from the Eco Manatee and Wildlife Boat Tour in Crystal River, and wow, it was incredible! We saw so many manatees up close, and the guide was super knowledgeable. The small group made it feel personal, and they even provided hot chocolate! 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a chill day out.
