Q&A

Q: Can this tour be done with kids? Are there any age restrictions?

A: Yes, this tour is great for families! There's no age restriction, so kids can definitely join in. Just be aware that some parts may be more interesting for older kids, but younger ones can enjoy the sights too. It’s pretty flexible, so you can go at your own pace, which is a plus with little ones!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Great question! Since it's a self-guided tour, you can go anytime, rain or shine. If the weather looks really bad, you can choose to wait for a clearer day. No need to worry about rescheduling since the tour and app access never expire!

Q: Is it easy to find parking in Edgartown? We're coming from out of town.

A: Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season, but there are a few public lots around. The town has some spots, but they fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Arriving early in the day or later in the afternoon can help you snag a spot. You might have to walk a bit to start the tour, but it's a beautiful area!

Just finished the Edgartown audio walking tour! So cool!

I did the self-guided audio walking tour in Edgartown last weekend, and it was awesome! The stories about the whaling history and the Jaws filming locations were super interesting. I went at my own pace which was nice, and I could stop to take pics whenever. Highly recommend it if you’re heading to Martha’s Vineyard. Plus, it’s free, can’t beat that!

Planning to gift the Edgartown walking tour!

I’m thinking of getting this audio walking tour for my parents who are visiting Martha’s Vineyard next month! They love history and walking around towns. Has anyone done it? Is it really as good as it sounds? I want them to have a memorable time!
