Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to handle the dirt road and some hiking. It’s a pretty laid-back tour, so most kids around 8 and up would enjoy it. Just keep in mind that it's a bit of a drive and can be a little bumpy, so younger kids might need a bit of extra patience!
A: Dress in layers! The evening can get chilly after sunset, so a light jacket is a good idea. Sturdy shoes are recommended since the dirt road can be uneven, and don't forget a hat and sunscreen for the daytime part of the tour. It's a beautiful area, so you might want to wear something you can take some good pics in too!
A: If the weather looks bad, like heavy rain or storms, they usually contact you to reschedule. They want to make sure you have the best experience for viewing the sunset. I'd recommend staying flexible with your dates in case you need to switch things around!

Just got back from the Eggshell Arch Sunset Tour and wow!
I did the Eggshell Arch Sunset Tour last week, and it was absolutely breathtaking! The way the arch lit up from orange to red was unreal. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the Navajo history, which made it even more special. We had a few stops for pics along the way, and the dirt road wasn’t as bad as I thought. Definitely bring a jacket for after sunset—it got chilly fast! Can't recommend this enough for a unique gift or a fun day out.
Thinking of gifting the Eggshell Arch Tour for my parents!
My parents are super into nature and photography, and I think the Eggshell Arch Sunset Tour would be perfect for them! They’re not the most adventurous people, but they can handle some light hiking. I’m a little worried about the dirt road part though. How rough is it really? Any tips on how to help them enjoy the experience?
