Explore San Diego's most beautiful stretch of coastline from Carlsbad to Solana Beach. Our bikes are fun to ride and you can get as much or as little exercise as you would like. You do not need prior experience riding an electric bike to enjoy this ride as long as you know how to ride a bike. The train ride coupled with the electric bike ride makes for a really fun day of entertainment at a reasonable price. Our tour is conducted on your cell phone with map and audio included. Solana Beach was chosen by Trip Adviser as one of the 15 best coastal communities in the USA and we offer the best way to enjoy it and the surrounding areas. The Solana Beach COASTER train station is only a block or so from our store. You can ride the train to our store from anywhere in San Diego rather than drive (avoid all the traffic too).

Q: What's the age limit for the electric bike tour? Can kids join?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 12 years old and know how to ride a bike. They can join the tour but must have an adult with them. It’s great for families, so many kids had fun when I went!

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating. Just contact them via their website or the number on your confirmation email. They were super helpful when I needed to change my date due to rain last month!

Q: What should we wear for the bike ride? Any recommendations?

A: Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. I recommend light layers since it can get a bit chilly by the ocean, especially in the morning. Also, bring sunglasses and sunscreen—you're going to be outside for a bit!

I recently went on the electric bike and train tour from Carlsbad to Solana Beach. It was so much fun! The views were stunning, and the e-bikes made it super easy to pedal without getting too tired.
