This is probably the most fun you can have in Treasure Island. We mapped out a fun and safe route. The trip covers about 6 miles. This is a semi-private tour with a small group. Begin with an introduction the the Ebikes. Then, follow your tour guide through the quiet neighborhood by our shop. Become familiar with the Ebikes in an area with little traffic as we pass by mansions and water views. Follow your guide through the neighborhood in Isle of Palms and then continue along Lagoon Lane towards John's Pass. Take a break under John's Pass Drawbridge. We often see dolphins swimming under the bridge, but not always. Next, ride to the top of the bridge and watch the sun sink into the Gulf. We will take some pictures for you. Venture back to the starting point along the beachfront path.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for the Electric Bike Sunset Tour? Can kids join?

A: Great question! The Electric Bike Sunset Tour is designed for ages 12 and up. Kids under 12 can’t ride their own bike but can join as passengers if they’re with an adult. Just make sure they can handle being on the e-bike comfortably! You'll need to check with the provider to see if they have any weight restrictions for the passenger.

Q: What happens if it rains the day of our tour?

A: If it rains, they typically reschedule your tour for the next available date. Just keep an eye on the weather before your booking. If it's looking sketchy, you can call Mad Beach Paddle Sports for their policy on cancellations—they're usually pretty flexible.

Q: Is there parking available near the starting point?

A: Yes! There's parking available near the Mad Beach Paddle Sports shop. The area can get busy, especially on weekends, so it’s good to arrive a bit early to snag a space. You might also find some street parking options, but check for any signs to avoid tickets!

Just booked the Electric Bike Sunset Tour! So excited!

Hey everyone! I just got tickets for the Electric Bike Sunset Tour at Treasure Island for my partner’s birthday! I’ve heard it's about a 6-mile ride and you get to see dolphins under the drawbridge. Plus, they take pics when the sun sets over the Gulf! Has anyone done this before? What should we wear? I'm a bit nervous about the e-bike but super pumped!

Anyone have tips for the Electric Bike Sunset Tour?

I’m thinking of gifting the Electric Bike Sunset Tour to my friend for her anniversary. I saw that they have a semi-private group, which sounds cool. What’s the best time to go? Also, I’m wondering how difficult the ride is. Are there any steep hills or anything?
