Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for riding the electric foilboard?

A: The age limit for electric foilboarding at Sugar Beach is 12 years old, which is great for teens! They've had riders as old as 78, so it's really suitable for a wide range of ages. Just make sure whoever you’re buying for has some agility and balance since that’ll help them get the most out of the experience.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating! Aloha Efoils understands that Maui can be unpredictable, so they’re usually pretty flexible. Just give them a call or check their website to reschedule for another day that works for you.

Q: What should you wear for the electric foilboard experience?

A: You’ll want to wear something that you can move in, like a swimsuit or quick-dry shorts. A rash guard is a good idea for sun protection and to keep you comfortable on the board. Also, don’t forget sunscreen – you’re in Maui after all! Flip-flops are fine for the beach but you might want to go barefoot on the board.
