Q&A

Q: Can you reschedule this hike if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating. Just reach out to Pena Travel and Tours at least 24 hours before your scheduled time, and they’ll help you find a new date. They’re pretty flexible about that, which is great!

Q: What’s the difficulty level of the hike? Is it suitable for kids?

A: The hike is pretty moderate, about 0.5 miles each way, so it’s definitely doable for most kids and adults. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a bit of help, especially if they’re not used to hiking. Overall, it’s a great family-friendly activity!

Q: What should we wear for the hike, and is there parking at the winery?

A: Wear comfortable shoes, and layers are a good idea since it can get chilly in the mountains. As for parking, the winery has a decent lot, and there's usually street parking in downtown Blue Ridge. Just be mindful of the busy times, especially on weekends!

Thinking of gifting the Elijay Hike and Wine Tour! Need opinions!

I’m considering this Elijay Hike w/ Waterfall & Wine Tasting tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature and wine, and it sounds perfect! Has anyone done this? How was the waterfall? And is the wine tasting good? Any tips for making it special?

Elijay hike - is it worth it?

I’m debating between this hike and another outdoor experience. I’ve heard the views are stunning, and I love wine, but how’s the hike itself? Is it worth the price? Any feedback would be appreciated!
